My name is Abdullateef Opeyemi Bakare. I am the founder of Devel AI, an organisation dedicated to cultivating the next generation of AI and engineering talent. Through our flagship research mentorship programme, Engineering.fit( ), which I convened, we have successfully trained and placed numerous individuals into leading tech roles and research positions globally. To date, Devel AI has directly impacted over 25 aspiring researchers and tech enthusiasts, with our Engineering.fit( ) fellows achieving a 94% success rate in securing roles at prestigious companies like Yiponline, Metricoid, Nerdbug, as well as in cutting-edge academic research labs in prestigious universities like the University of Alberta. Collectively, our alumni have contributed to over 50 published research papers and now form a vibrant global network of AI practitioners driving innovation across the industry. My own career as a tech leader and machine learning engineer, with a first-class honours background in Mechanical Engineering, peer-reviewed publications, and industry experience with organisations like Turing Enterprises Inc. and Databridge AI, has equipped me to identify and nurture exceptional potential.
